E.H.M.I.S. INTRAMURAL PROGRAM 

Dear Parents,

The following list of intramural activities will likely be offered this school year at E.H.M.I.S.  Included is a tentative time schedule when each activity will likely take place. Most of the activities will take place on our campus and will begin at 3:25 P.M. and end at 4:45, however exact times will be announced in school during announcements several days in advance. Students wishing to participate will also be instructed on where and when to sign-up several days before the first session begins. Other activities may be offered that do not appear on this list.

Our intramural program provides your child an excellent opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities including academics, arts and crafts, recreational and competitive sports. Each activity will be supervised by professional staff members who are knowledgeable in the activity they sponsor. Attendance is encouraged but not mandatory. Emphasis is on fundamental skills and fun, not competition.

More Intramural Information

•  Most activities are held in the Intermediate School building or on our campus.

• Weekday activities begin at 3:25 and run for 1 hour to 2 hours in length.

• All activities will be announced on the morning announcements for several days before the start of the activity.  Details such as where to sign up, what grade levels may participate, dates, times, and meeting places will be covered in those announcements.

• It is very important to have your child picked up at the announced time when the activity ends for the day.  Pick up is usually at the front of our school building.

• Attendance is encouraged but not required.  If your child has to miss a session because of another commitment the instructor will understand.

• All of our activities are supervised by staff members whom have expertise in that area.

• All of our activities are designed to teach fundamental skills which emphasize recreational fun and minimizes competition.
