Introduction

You are a team of plant experts hired to help our class save their dying plants! There are four different plants in our clasroom. Each plant is not growing well! We need YOUR help to save our plants.

Task

Your team will be assigned to one of the four plants.

If you are team number 1, you will work on plant number 1.

If you are team number 2, you will work on plant number 2.

If you are team number 3, you will work on plant number 3.

If you are team number 4, you will work on plant number 4.

Your team will be given one of the four plants. Your team's job will be to observe, research, record, and tell our class what is necessary to save one of our dying plants.

Process

1. Click on the plant to review plant parts.

2. Observe the plant that you are assigned to and record on the Observation Sheet.

3. Click on the to print a page to draw your plant.

 

4. Research information about your plant using the books in our plant library or using the following links below:

5. Your team must present to the class and tell them:

(1) What plant did you have?

(2) Why wasn't it growing?

 

6. The class and I will decide if you have become a true plant expert like these children!

Remember--- Plants need water, sunlight, temperature that is just right, (not too cold and not too hot), space and air to grow in.
