'THE SERIES' - ARTIST OPENING RECEPTION - MAY 18, 2024 --- It will be held at the former Bank of Hanover, 25 Carlisle Street, Hanover, PA - on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 6-8 PM. Additional Hours: Sunday, 11 AM-2 PM; Monday, 4:30-6 PM; Wednesday, 4:30-6 PM.

Due to the timing of the Solar Eclipse - The South Western School District will be dismissing students early on April 8, 2024.
Elementary students will be dismissed at 12:30 PM.
Middle School and High School students will be dismissed at 1:30 PM.
Lunches will be served to students before dismissal.
Schools and Offices will be Closed - March 28, 29 and April 1.

Good Afternoon Manheim Families and Staff --- Today, we are happy to report that the water pressure at Manheim Elementary has been corrected and the water has been deemed safe for the students to drink and for the cafeteria to use when preparing food. The water pressure failure was due to a broken water pump which has been replaced and has corrected the problem. Following the pump replacement, the district was required to complete water quality tests to determine if the water was safe for consumption. The district must receive two consecutive tests that indicate the water is safe for consumption, and the district has received the two required consecutive tests that show the water is safe for consumption. The test results are available on our district website, and hard copies are also available in the Manheim Elementary Office.
Effective immediately, students will once again have access to the drinking fountains in the school. We appreciate your patience as we worked to correct the water pressure issue.
The South Western School District Board of School Directors approved the tentative adoption of the 2024-2027 Special Education Plan at the February 28, 2024 regular Board meeting. The Plan will be recommended for final adoption at the March 27, 2024 regular meeting. https://5il.co/2fqv1
