Kindergarten Registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now open. If you are registering as a kindergartener, please follow the steps outlined below.
Go to https://www.swsd.k12.pa.us/page/district-registration to complete the online Kindergarten Registration.
After you fully complete the online registration process, you will be contacted by the school for a screening appointment at your child’s elementary building. Your child must accompany you to the appointment due to required screenings such as vision, hearing, speech, and readiness skills screening.
Appointments at the building level will be scheduled AFTER you have fully completed the online registration process. Please complete the online registration as soon as possible to ensure you get a screening appointment at the building. You must complete all parts of the online registration before submitting.
District Policy 201 establishes eligibility requirements for kindergarten based on the child’s age. The age requirements for the 2026-2027 school year are defined below. No exceptions will be permitted for the age requirement.
Kindergarten - children who turn five (5) on or before September 1, 2026
